Most know me as 'that girl on TV'...
Born & raised in southern California, I left the Golden State for Colorado in 2009 to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. I earned my B.A. in Environmental Studies with a specialization in 'Climate & Energy' and a minor in Atmospheric & Oceanic Studies.
After graduation, I hit the road to Lubbock, Texas where I started my TV career in May of 2013. I spent a year and a half forecasting the wild weather of West Texas. Dust, ice, severe storms and wind - this California gal got her fair share of weather while in the Hub City.
I got a call in August 2014 from a news director in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A 6 hour drive, one interview & a few phone calls later, I signed a deal with the CBS/FOX affiliate in ABQ. I spent four and half years in the Duke City, enjoying all there was to offer -- great food, amazing views & a whole state's worth of weather.
I am now the weekend meteorologist for the NBC affiliate in Austin, Texas.
